At a very early age Robert George Geiger seemed predestined to be a “creative”.  From Clark Junior High through West Anchorage High School, Penn State University, Anchorage Community College and University of Alaska Anchorage Campus he took every opportunity to pursue the arts as his electives of choice. His mother often assured him the starving artist was a real thing so he became a Medical Laboratory Professional. Using a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Penn State he had a modest life, a successful marriage and four children. Shortly before his retirement from Medicine he earned a Bachelor of Art in Journalism and Public Communication from UAA. In 2026 he received a Bachelor’s degree program in Art, also from UAA.

Welcome to my Gallery where you can see examples of my oil paintings, drawings, sculptures and computer art both commercial and fine art.

Fine Art

Currently my favorite medium is large scale oil paintings (3 ft. x 3 ft., 4 ft. x 3ft and 2 ft. x 4 ft.). In the past I’ve done some sculpture and completed several college level drawing courses.

Computer Art

I minored in digital art as a part of my BA in Journalism and Public Communication. I’ve completed projects for my church, CD covers for my band and a stage banner for another band I was part of.

Digital Animation

While examples of the digital animated articles I published in my monthly web ezine PocketLoop are not here you’ll fine the complete archive at loopzinetv.blog

LoopZineTV features over 200 animated music articles

This short example is the intro to the promotional article for the band Throbbing Gristle published in the Spring of 2007. (It’s missing the soundtrack which is a 30 second music loop from the band).
